Date Of Death: November 21, 2010

Norman Esco Boyd age 82 passed away Sunday, November 21, 2010 in Camby, IN. Born in Jayess, MS Oct 9, 1928 to Needham and Susie Thornhill Boyd. Married September 17,2004, his spouse, Beverly Sue Boyd survives him.

A World War II Veteran and an Honor Guard, in the 82nd Airborne. Aferwards, a glass Neon Sign maker owner.
Survivors include six biological children: David Boyd, Michael Boyd, Barbara Engle, Betsy Sruthe, Tammy Boyd, Lisa Edmonds as well as 13 grandchildren. His step children include: Terri(Mike) Fishel, Cindy(Steve) Kunkel, Linda(Carl) Lynn, Paula(Bill) Callis and 7 step grandchildren. Other survivors: sister, Gloria(Ken) Ekstrom and nephews, Jim(Christine)Ekstrom, Michael Ekstrom and John Ekstrom. Several great-nephews and nieces.

Life interests included puzzles, card games, music, and his love for animals, especially his Poodle “Spook�. He also enjoyed fishing, cooking and trying new recipes, he was an accomplished cook. He loved studying History.

Following Cremation, he will be entombed On Friday, November 26,2010 at 1pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois. With a military memorial service.
